Wozu Vision
To create a lifeline to the land connecting past and future generations.
Wozu currently cares for 100 egg laying chickens that produce an average 90 eggs per day. These cage-free chickens provide more than just a healthy source of protein, they play a big role in Wozu’s land regeneration program: chickens are one part of the process of healing the land.
Eggs laid by Wozu hens currently go to the community’s church, which redistributes them to elderly and disabled Cannon Ball members. We plan to scale this program up to 1000 chickens in 2023.
