Wozu Vision
To create a lifeline to the land connecting past and future generations.
Wozu assisted with a traditional buffalo hunt in support of partner non-profit Lakota/Dakota Immersion Nest School (The Nest) in October.
The Nest chose a male parent of a student to conduct the hunt as part of cultural protocols. Our organization was able to provide the harvesting equipment, volunteer support, safety and marksmanship training to the hunter.
We plan to conduct the same hunts once annually for Cannon Ball community members starting in 2023.
