The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Game and Fish Department welcomes visitors who wish to hunt and fish on the Standing Rock Sioux Nation.
Wozu’s Outdoor Stewardship program is committed to preparing youth and community members for safe and responsible experiences on the land.
Through our Hunter Safety & Training sessions, participants learn essential skills for the upcoming hunting season—covering safety measures, ethical practices, and proper handling techniques. These trainings are designed to build confidence, ensure safety, and promote respect for the animals and the environment.
We are proud to support our community in gaining the knowledge they need to engage with the outdoors responsibly. Each new hunter who completes training helps carry forward a tradition rooted in stewardship, sustainability, and cultural connection.
At Wozu, we believe safety comes first—and with it, the skills to thrive in the field.
Supporting & inspire next generations by building connections within our community.
