From the ground; heal the home

As part of our Holistic Wellness Program, Wozu hosted a day of communal sage harvesting on the lands we manage and care for. Guests gathered together to share in the tradition, working side by side while enjoying stories, laughter, and the sense of community that grows when we reconnect with the land.

Sage holds a special place in our culture. For generations, it has been used in ceremonies, prayer, and daily life as a powerful medicine. It is known for its cleansing properties—used to purify spaces, protect the spirit, and restore balance to the mind and body. By harvesting together, participants not only gathered an important resource but also gained a deeper appreciation for the practices of our ancestors.

This event reflects the heart of holistic wellness: nurturing both body and spirit, while strengthening our connection to each other and the land. Through experiences like these, Wozu continues to promote practices that honor tradition and sustain well-being for future generations.
